Clean Sheets

Back when I was a kid, laundry day was a big deal. We had to round up all the dirty clothes from our bedrooms, gather up all the towels and wash clothes from the bathroom, and take all the sheets and pillowcases off the beds. Then we spent pretty much the entire day washing all those clothes.

We had an automatic washing machine that worked great. But although we had a clothes dryer, my dad didn’t like for us to use it unless we had a rainy spell and had to. We had to take all the clean, wet clothes outside to the back yard and hang them up on the clothesline to dry.

Then, the next day we had to iron everything. I hated ironing and I still hate ironing. But clean sheets that smell like the fresh air and ironed smooth are the most wonderful thing to slide across at the end of the day.

So what you going to be for Halloween

Its October and it is that time of year again when we all get dressed up in some cool costume and head ou tparting or trick or treating depending on your age. But no matter what it is your doing on Halloween does not amtter to me what does is what your going to be this year for Halloween?

I am kind of up in the air about what to be this year I may go dress up like catwoman or some cheerleader outfit. But ai m curious as to what eveyone else is going to be wearing this year so tell me what you got in mind!

I am sticking with the DVDs

You probably like me and thinking that blu-ray won the dvd war not what? To be honest I do not own a blu-ray disc player and probably never will because everything looks just as good on DVD as it does on blu-ray discs because my television is not a high definition set so upgrading has made no sense.

I have no spare time to play games so buying a Play Station 3 makes no sense so I may just wait till the next format before upgrading all the stuff from my television to computer because as is everything works and looks fine. Plus the adult dvds that used to be like sixty dollars per dvd are now like five dollars per dvd so holding off saves me a ton of money over the next year or two till the next generation format comes out!

Why most of us go to the Dentist

I was having a hard time chewing anything because I had 2 teeth that were in severe pain because I had 2 cavities that needed attention. So after taking the pain for a couple of months finally this morning I could not take no more and called my Dentist for an appointment. While I was there my Dentist told me that I should come in more and get my teeth cleaned to avoid getting cavities down the road.

I used to only go when something hurt but now I am going to go every couple of months, just to get my teeth cleaned and you should visit your Dentist on a regular basis to get check ups and your teeth cleaned to because it can save you a lot of pain down the road, trust me.

Do I give a shit? Well do you?

Well in case you missed my last post that answer to this question is simple, Yes, I give a shit but my question to you is do you give a shit? I love this planet and all the people in it regardless of color religion or anything else. As much as society tries to make us all individuals we are still apart of this great thing called life. When asked how you feel about the World and helping it and the people in it how do you respond?

If called upon to help your fellow man would you? Or would you turn your back on them and let them suffer or worse yet die? Think about helping your fellow man tomorrow surely there is something you can give away that is just sitting in your closet to someone who needs it more than you.

Make sure to do your part in helping the World by doing whatever it is that you can do to help save the World. It all starts with the average person doing what they can to conserve energy and not to waste. I have outfitted my home with all sorts of energy saving devices including a tank less water heater which saves me a ton of money and works just as good as a regular water heater.

What are you doing to help the World and how? I am always interested in hearing more ways that i can help save the world that do not require me to donate to some charity.

Cooking at home is back in

Since prices have sky rocketed everywhere in the country we have been cooking at home a lot more now and i am actually liking that fact because eating all that fast food junk is good every once and a awhile but having home cooked meals is much better for my health.

Of course cooking at home does take time and cleaning the dishes does take time as well but in the end it is worth it not to mention I save about five dollars in gas not driving back and fourth to the local fast food restaurants.
