Actually... here in southwest Kansas, gas prices went from the norm of last week (3.94 or so) to a drop of about 3.81. It's crazy because theirs a range within one town (30,000 people) of anywhere from 3.81 to 4.04 still.

I don't think our economy is doing too bad. Look at it on a global scale, England is paying 5 pounds per litre (roughly $40's USD per gallon). We're not bad off, and ethanol will help push the price down which will lower the price of other products (Since highered costs are coming from transportation).

The Euro is only high right now because the economy hasn't evened out yet. Think about when the dollar first came out, how much do you think it was worth? Why was it so high? Because it was new, people didn't yet know what price to put on it. The Euro's still new, of course it's going to be a higher price.

We haven't hit rock bottom yet, I mean, not saying we won't have to each make a small sacrifice like actually being content with what we have (instead of wanting a 4 room house, 2 bathrooms and full pool for one person). We've had it and still have it off pretty damn well, adding fuel to the fire about a recession and paranoia doesn't help anything, just hurts the economy even more. Just my two cents, I expect a penny for my thoughts (I charge double, you pay half lol.)

Sincerely,
Erik
